Stewart Parvin
Stewart Parvin grew up in Ascot, Berkshire and from a young age showed a keen interest in fashion, which later developed into a very unique talent.
In 1996 he launched his own collection and opened his Boutique in Knightsbridge. Stewart soon boasted an exclusive clientele ranging in age from 22 to 90, with many of his first season clients firm devotees a decade on. In 2000 he was asked to submit his sketches to Buckingham Palace and after immediate approval began designing some of the Queen's most favoured outfits. He has since been commended for giving Her Majesty a fresher, lighter look and for creating some of her most eye-catching gowns to date. His work was included in the 2006 exhibition of Her Majesty's dresses, 'Dress for The Occasion' at Buckingham Palace, and he was awarded an honorary fellowship of Edinburgh College of Art in their centenary year 2007. In the same year, Stewart received The Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen in recognition of his work.
In 2002 Stewart embarked on a new venture and extended his London boutique to include the Couture Bridal Salon. Dedicated to providing the ultimate bridal gown, the Stewart Parvin Black Label collection proved to be hugely successful and is continually well received by magazine editors and brides alike. The White Label Collection offers Stewart's signature style and elegance through an exclusive selection of stockists throughout the UK, USA, Japan and Australia.
Today, Stewart has a London studio from where he designs all his pieces and keeps a close eye on the creation of each garment. He works with a small team, using only the most luxurious fabrics, fantastically creative embroiderers and seamstresses, ensuring that great care and detail is put into all of his ranges. His fame in the fashion industry comes as a direct result of this attention to detail and his unique and tastefully classic designs.
Riviera Cocktail Collection
Stewart has taken inspiration from Slim Arrans and Edward Quinn, two legendary photographers who captured the golden era of glamour. Their pictures of film stars, the aristocracy and society beauties give an amazing insight into the glitz and glamour world of the 1950's and 1960's jet-set. This season's gowns showcase the world's finest fabrics. Duchesse satins, tulles, taffetas, chiffons and charmeuses are accented with delicate, bejewelled embroidery and antique hues. The dresses are detailed with soft drapes, vintage ribbons and embellished belts, highlighting this season's must-have cinched waist. Skirts take on a new look with greater volume and diaphanous layers.
Whilst the greater part of the collection is devoted to Stewart's signature silhouettes and legendary corseted construction, he has also introduced a comprehensive choice of softer, more delicate, romantic dresses. With a Red Carpet twist, these gowns would be perfect for a destination, chic urban or a bohemian garden wedding.

Elizabeth Taylor Collection
Stewart created the Elizabeth Taylor collection, drawing inspiration from the screen idol in the heyday of her Hollywood years. It features draped tulle, ruched taffeta, and hourglass silhouettes. Complimented with floral corsages, satin sashes and must-have jewellery, the gowns also feature classic corsetry techniques, evoking an age of effortless style, glamour and sophistication, all with a contemporary twist.
